Sam and Marlo
Dov presents Chloe with a giant “I’m Sorry” cookie to make nice after his bipolar accusation. The two of them take a statement from a woman who was robbed. Her name is Celery and she’s a witch. Dov is skeptical of the lady, but Oliver takes a shine to the pretty little love potion pusher….
So Marlo is spiraling out of control and, because of her illness, doesn’t realize it. THIS is exactly why Frank, her superiors, and her partner NEED to know about her illness. Because there are signs she’s spiraling and nobody is picking up on them because they don’t know!
I watch the rest of 12 no much more to say.

If you want to write these summaries in spanish in more detail, I know someone who can translate them to English for you.
LMAO. Oh. My. God.
Shut. Up. Marlo brings out the worst in Sam. He’s Pod!Sam this season. Did anyone else hear Olivet, tell Dov he can use a friend??? Lol. Sam is alienating everyone. Even Oliver. Sam is not fully happy.
Lol. Even in episode 5 he just puts his head down and leaves the station w/o saying goodbye to anyone.
News flash, Andy did let him be. She is not throwing herself at him or anything. She’s all class and dignity. Lol.
This is just absolutely hilarious. Anyone who thinks this season is the real Sam is quite frankly, the biggest idiot on the planet.

I hope you update when you’ve seen the last two episodes!
I watched this episode on June 27th and time has not lessened my utter dislike for it. Sam’s lack of concern for Andy is one reason, I found that to be utterly out of character for him. But my biggest issue with this episode is Marlo and her secret.
Marlo is nothing more than a complete and total liar. If she can’t be honest about her illness with people who NEED to know about it, then that right there shows how unfit she is to be a Police Officer.
She is violating two of TPS’s Core Values – Honesty and Integrity – and she’s been violating them for nine years. When all of this blows up I hope like hell she gets fired. And Andy agreeing to keep the secret, I am so very disappointed in Andy’s decision. So, as much as I love Andy, she needs to be punished. Frank and anyone working with Marlo NEEDS and DESERVES to know about her mental illness. There is supposed to be absolute trust between police officers working together, you need to trust that your partner can and will have your back. So while Marlo’s partner may be unaware that she’s keeping this secret, MARLO knows. SHAME ON HER.
So this is the storyline that is supposed to have me feeling sorry for Marlo? I’m supposed to be sympathetic to her? EFF THAT. Marlo deserves whatever is coming her way. I have absolutely no respect for this woman, none. There is not ONE redeeming quailty that I have seen in her. She’s nothing more than a hypocrite and a liar. Getting all snotty with Chris and Gail because they were messing around in the squad car – um, HELLO, you got no room to talk.
She had an episode shortly after the Academy and she STILL kept it a secret. She is a danger to herself and a danger to anyone working with her because her judgement is obviously impaired.
She wants to be a cop, it’s her dream, she doesn’t want to sit behind a desk – that’s not the kind of cop she wants to be. Well, ya know what, Ken Mattingly wanted to fly on Apollo 13 but he wasn’t allowed to because of health concerns. And countless men have wanted to be fighter pilots and haven’t been allowed to because they don’t have 20/20 vision – in fact that’s what got Harm grounded on JAG. When you have a CHRONIC health issues – it CAN and DOES affect your life in many ways. Many health issues can be managed and you live a RELATIVELY normal life – relatively being the operative word here. But there are going to be things that you can’t do – suck it up. It’s for your own protection and for the protection of others.
I just cannot even begin to tell you how disappointed I am in the writers for going this route with Marlo. They wanted to do a mental illness storyline, great, but depression or PTSD would have been better choices. If they really wanted to use Bipolar Disorder, then use one of the character’s family members to tell that story.
This is the final nail in the coffin – I hate Marlo and I hope that she is allowed to disappear just like Jo Rosatti did. I don’t like her character, I have absolutely no respect for her – she is certainly not the professional she professes to be – , I feel her character was completely unnecessary and is stealing story time from other characters that I love, and the MOST realistic ending to this whole thing is her being fired.
Wow, you’re in for some disappointment. That synopsis was sooooo misleading.
